Jamie B. Turner

Jamie is currently post-graduate research fellow in philosophy at Ibn Haldun University, Istanbul; Turkey. His current research primarily involves an exploration of differing trends of religious epistemology within Islamic thought, with particular focus on Damascene theologian Ibn Taymiyya (d. 1328). More generally, his research includes important areas of consideration in contemporary philosophy of religion and epistemology. Turner is also a member of the Sapience Institute for Islamic thought and education, a fellow at the Fatima Elizabeth Institute of Islam, Science & Philosophy, and a contributor at the International Foundation for Muslim Theology. He has also acted as a referee for a number of prestigious academic journals such as, Religious Studies, Faith and Philosophy, Sophia, and The European Journal for Philosophy of Religion

Mohmammad Saleh Zarepour

In his own words:

I am a Lecturer at the Department of Philosophy of the University of Manchester. Before coming to Manchester, I was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow and a member of the Global Philosophy of Religion Project at the Department of Philosophy of the University of Birmingham. I was also a Humboldt Postdoctoral Researcher at Munich School of Ancient Philosophy (April 2019 - September 2020). I received a PhD in Philosophy at Tarbiat Modares University, Iran in 2015 and another in Theology and Religious Studies at the University of Cambridge in 2019. My research interests include medieval Islamic philosophy, philosophy of religion, philosophy of language, philosophy of mathematics, and philosophy of logic.
