Nazariyat

Nazariyat, a Journal for the History of Islamic Philosophy and Sciences, is issued twice a year in English and Turkish. It is a refereed international journal. It publishes original studies, critical editions of classical texts and book reviews on Islamic philosophy, kalām, theoretical aspects of Sufism and the history of sciences. The goal of Nazariyat is to contribute to the discovery, examination and reinterpretation of the theoretical traditions in the history of Islamic thought, by giving special attention to the post-classical period of it.

KALAM

KALAM is primarily intended for the publication of scholarly works in the field of Islamic Studies, especially ones that relate to Islamic theology, Islamic philosophy, Islamic mysticism and Islamic thoughts. KALAM seeks to place the study of Islam within interdisciplinary approaches, and across various traditions of learning. It publishes in English. 

Indonesian Journal of Islam and Muslim Studies

IJIMS has the perspectives of humanities and social sciences. This journal also has programs aimed at bridging the gap between the textual and contextual approaches to Islamic Studies; and solving the dichotomy between ‘orthodox’ and ‘heterodox’ Islam, It publishes in English.

Ma'rifat-e-kalami

This journal publishes on various theological (kalam) and philosophical topics from primarily Shi'ite thinkers but also comaprative with other traditions. It publishes in mainly Farsi.

Al-Afkar

The al-Afkar Journal focuses on research and reviews of litertaure in all areas of Islamic studies. It publishes articles in English.

Kader

Kader is a double blind peer reviewed Turkish journal published bi-annually with a range of topics in philosophy and theology that are covered. It publishes in English as well.

al-Fikr al-Islami al-Mu'asir

This is the journal published by the International Institute of Islamic Thought (IIIT) in Arabic. There is English content as well.

AUIFD

The Journal of the Faculty of Divinity of Ankara University (Ankara Üniversitesi İlahiyat Fakültesi Dergisi) is a peer-reviewed open-access academic journal published continuously since 1952. It is the oldest continuously published academic journal in the fields of Islamic and religious studies (ilahiyat) in Turkey and one of the oldest in the entire Islamic world. It publishes in English.

Jurnal Theologia

The Theologia journal focuses on Islamic theology, philosophy, Sufism and ethics but contextualised in the Malay intellectual and cultural contexts. It publishes in English.

Tasavvur

Tasavvur is a peer-reviewed Journal published bi-annually by Tekirdag Namık Kemal University Faculty of Theology. The Journal aims to contribute religious, theological, and social studies by publishing original academic works meeting international scientific criteria. The Journal publishes articles in Turkish, English, and Arabic. 

The Australian Journal of Islamic Studies

The Australian Journal of Islamic Studies (AJIS) is an open access, double-blind peer-reviewed journal dedicated to the scholarly study of Islam. The journal publishes original research articles, essays and book reviews related to Islamic sciences to promote the flow of ideas, exchange and discussion of research findings.  

ULUM

ULUM Journal of Religious Inquiries is a double-blind peer-reviewed open access academic journal published semi-annually in the fields of Islamic and Religious StudiesThe objective of the journal is to provide a forum for the scholars of Study of Religion(s) and Islamic Studies from Turkey and all over the world through which they can share and disseminate their research results and findings. The Journal is published twice a year as of July and December.
